Gas Safety Checklist

  • Store gas cylinders in a well-ventilated area
  • Store cylinders upright on a level surface
  • Keep cylinders away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat
  • Keep cylinders at least 3 meters away from combustible materials
  • Regular checks: Cylinders should be regularly checked for faults and leaks.
  • Separation: Full and empty cylinders should be stored separately and labeled.
  • Handling: Cylinders should not be rocked back and forth or rolled on their edge.
